During 3 hour long ride little girl again slept..In warmth of her father’s embrace. Like she was awake from ages.Yes she never got that sleep like every  child should ..Since her birth neither she had that mother…who could fed her to be in sleep with full tiny tummy…What an irony ? Why to blame that unfortunate mother too ? Who didn’t know even her child’s presence inside her..Nor this innocent ever got father’s secure arms…who could rock her in arms ..To assure her she won’t have bad dreams..

(keep in mind even new born babies do dream)

 

Mr. Rathi called on Addi’s phone  ” Ji Kamal Ji we r on the way..It is gonna take one more hour I think ..?” Addi replied when Mr. Rathi inquired about their arrival time.

 

 

” That’s fine Aditya.. Gill saab filled our case.. We ll discuss in detail at  farm house.. Dr. Patel is also here.. Just waiting for you ..” calmly Kamal Ji replied as per his nature.

 

 

” That’s very good Kamal Ji ..We want DNA test report today .. ” Addi was happy with progress of the things as they had planned..

 

” Of course Aditya  ..  Just Maan n Pihu’s blood samples are only they need .. ” Kamal Ji told him same which he was discussing with Dr. Patel regarding DNA.

 

This jolted Addi  How to get blood sample of already scared girl. Who couldn’t speak full sentence even ” Pihu’s blood saa-saampple “ he stuttered

 

Maan gave confusing look. Snatched  phone from Addi “Kamal Ji ..Pihu’s blood sample how is it possible.. It was too tough for us to normalize her little..To trust us.” It was really beyond imagination to take blood sample of 6 years old scared girl

 

But he was Maan Singh Khuraana...He had solution for this too ” According to my knowledge hair sample also works..Please ask Dr. Patel..If we can go for that..” hopeful father asked..

 

” Maan wait Dr. Patel is here. Let me put him to speaker ”  Kamal Ji requested Dr. Patel to talk to Maan.. It was great relief.. when Dr. stamped Maan’s  little info right… It was possible with hair sample.How to take sample ?  In what quantity Dr. Patel explained in detail..

 

” Maan she is sleeping .. We can take but without scissors  how ? We can’t pull her hair even ? “ One bad advice of Addi over powered good one when he talked about pulling hair.

 

” Addi ! I think I should pull ur hair first.. I don’t know how u  manage KC such efficiently in my absence even.. Such a big jerk u  r ?  “ Irked Maan said…

 

Addi twisted his lips.. Pushing his spects back in his silent protest ..  Maan smirked looking at him.. He knew in a fractions of second Addi’s anger would vanish away…

 

” Vipan !!  I think we have entered outskirts of city .. If you find any stationary shop stop there for a while “ Driver nodded from front on this..

 

” N u Mr. Aditya Sharma instead of glaring me.. Keep n eye on shops  around ” Maan said in dominating tone.

 

After 20 minutes drive Vipin stopped near to a stationary shop.. Before Pihu woke up It was important to take sample successfully .. Quickly Addi returned after buying a craft scissors.. Both sighed in relief..  Addi’s foolish grin was enough to tell.he was not annoyed any more..

 

Vipin again started toward farm house.. Puchki was in Maan’s arms .. So Addi without disturbing her…removed her hair band.. Along different sides of length they took five thin samples.Instead of one thick lock from a part..As thin locks would mix up easily with length But a thick lock would clearly display odd cutting .. Addi put sample in poly beg he also purchased.. But how to make braid he didn’t know ?

 

Maan smirked.. As baby was in he arms ..so he couldn’t.. Addi scratched his head in helplessness “Don’t u worry just tie hair in loose pony.. What a big deal is this huh ? ll ask her that hair band slipped off “

 

Under tight security when they reached Farm House..it was 12:30 already.. A well built middle age man.. Former commando Mr. Rathi was waiting to welcome.. He was the man working with Gov. secret services n also own private agencies .. From past 15 years he was in this field n 6 years he spent on Maan’s case.. So more than formal it turned out to be friendly  ties now..

 

Maan rested sleeping girl’s head on shoulder..n stepped in followed by Addi

 

” So a father wins at last.. Isn’t she a beautiful dream.. “ rolling hand over Pihu‘ back Mr. Rathi got emotional..

 

” Nothing was possible without u Kamal Ji ..Who was there by my me in hard times “ Maan always respected him from bottom of his heart ..No one could do what he did for him.. Many times when Maan didn’t have enough money to pay.. For those external sources Mr. Rathi took help from.. He paid on Maan’s behalf. It was other thing Maan always paid him back as his client .

 

” By the way.. If u add me too ur praise session.. But I m feeling chill.. Isn’t it better we move inside first instead being at door ?  “ Addi grinned ear to ear.. He shivered folding his arms

 

Maan kicked Addi at ankle slight.. Teasingly.. In living area , A big team of professionals were waiting for them..

Senior investigating Officer from Mr. Rathi’s Agency  Ramesh Khanna  

 

There was team of housekeeping staff all agency people..Every thing was like any secret mission .. All got up to welcome Maan as he stepped.. Filling his child , love of his life in arms..For whom he did everything not ruined others but even himself too… Morals , Relations , Trust.. Wrong & Right.. there was no such words in his dictionary now.

 

Maan n Addi greeted them too in return..As they were the best professionals from respective fields ” Thank u ladies & gentlemen .. Thanks for the wait, also for ur patience “ Maan requested for ten minutes more.. He took his sleeping child in bedroom.. Asked aged nanny to keep an eye on her..

 

” Dr. Patel I have Pihu’s hair sample “ Addi forward poly beg to lab tech. Rishi… Kirpal asked Maan for blood sample.. Like a scared child he closed his eyes while girl took blood sample.. It was really hard to control laugh..But all dared not..How man like him was enacting seeing needle ?

 

They didn’t wasted any time n took sample to their special van…Turned into a medical lab for just one test.. There was no work left for  Dr. Patel.. But just one signatures of him was gonna make..  DNA certificate an important legal document.. So he had to wait for more 3-4 hours.. And he got paid heavily for this few hour work only..

 

Dr. Patel was just for a certificate here. But Maan didn’t want to discuss whole case in his presence.. House Keeping staff showed him way to guest room till he finished his work.

 

Both Solicitors , Kamal Rathi accompanied by Maan n Addi reached to Farm House Study to discuss about custody case.

 

” Khuraana Saab case is totally in ur favour . Our hearing is on 15th Jan .. Hopefully ussi din decision bhi mil jaaye “ sitting on couch Mr. Gill asked..

 

” Mr. Gill .. aisa he hona cha-hea .. I can’t wait more.. There r lots of works pending .. “ determined Maan replied .

 

Addi nodded his head looking at impatient Maan ” Maan calm down.. Its in Mr. Gill’s hands so need not to worry ” he tugged Maan’s shoulder ..

 

” I am full faith in him. From three years I have left everything one him.. Per kya karu sabar nahi hota.. ” He expressed his trust but still that horrific past always shattered him ….Scared him some where still deep inside .. Like some one would snatch Pihu from him. Which was his self assumption only in reality …

 

” What is this Maan ?  U were never been weak..Even I knew that teenager who fought back with his destiny ..” Kamal Ji tried to boost him up..

 

” Yes Mr. Khuraana be positive when we have all the proofs “ Mr. Gill second Kamal Ji

 

 

***** So what proofs they had collected in past 3 years ? Let me tell u*****

Both were teenagers.. Maan never forced Pihu’s mother .. So it was all about If Maan could care his child properly ?  Yes , he had full right to keep her custody . How ?

It started when Maan  hired Mr. Gill on Mr. Kamal Rathi’s  recommendations…Geet was missing but it was true she had lost her mental balance. So Maan decided when ever he got his child…he was not gonna take any time for her custody . Even if he was his biological father..But Pihu was born out of marital ties when her parents were teenager themselves..No one could claim child even as adopt one..

1 : That was not forced Relation : Mr. Gill never let Geet’s mom knew reason of her statement . But she gave in written that Maan never forced her, It was their mutual consent..Geet’s cousin n close friend Pinky also stamped it ..

 

2: Brij made Geet victim of domestic voilence  : Rano also cleared it n how he dumped her daughter threatening Geet’s handicap father n helpless mother..For that Brij was in jail now.. Ashamed of society Rano left village with family. But Mr. Gill knew where she was if ever she needed for live statement..

 

3: Maan cared Geet : Even if it was a big jolt for shocked teen but he took Geet to Chandigarh hospital when she had epileptic fit in pregnancy..Hospital records cleared it. Then to Bengaluru with gathering courage..

 

4 : Whole Bengaluru Drama : His Mamma was much ashamed.. Maan never faced him again still he gave whole statement that how they all lied to Maan . Keeping Geet’s mental balance n Pihu’s birth a secret..Due to his old age he was not sent to jail now..Maan even didn’t want that.. Otherwise Daddi had also got to know whole develpment..

 

5 : Maan’s struggle to search Geet : Mr. Rathi n Addi  knew how he struggled. How he repent. When he was just second year student.. He did all odd jobs to collect money to pay Mr. Rathi n all other sources who could help him… Six years all search records were there with Mr. Gill.

 

*****Now after DNA test all documents would clearly declare. Even being a teenager he was a responsible , loving n caring father . Who was the sole person to keep custody of his child..No one could challenge him.*****

 

 

***** plz plz plz let me clear you. Many reader ask Maan is gonna adopt Pihu but its not adoption ..But custody of his own child…Why to adopt own baby ?  Only reason was at the time of her birth he was teenager n not married to her mother..Also she was missing from years so any one could claim her as own daughter for money. From her wealthy father emotionally blackmailing him.*****

” Rohit she has locked herself in room ? ” worried mother Somya informed husband Rohit..

 

Rohit kept mum. Fixing his eyes on laptop screen he was buzy with his work. Even he didn’t look at Somya once.

 

” Rohit.. I think I am talking to you . Per aap to kuch sunte nahi  like alwayz ? ” irked Somya snatched laptop from him..

 

” Right Somya like always.. Tum sunti ho.. I strictly  warned you to keep her away from here..Why did you encourage her to come back ? Aur wo bhi tab jab kal  Lohri Hai..”  removing his spects he replied…

 

” Then for how long ? Tell me.. Lohri is just an excuse.. It is just a co-incidence.  She needs justice. It doesn’t matter she was in US or now here.. ” Somya burst on him.

 

” Yes Pa I need justice. I kept ur promise .. But u promised me too ..” Riya followed her mother. When Somya knocked her door many times. She came out behind her..

 

For a while Rohit gazed at both. Like he had no answer..Then got up from bed…on which he was sitting till few moments back .. busy with office work..”  So u kept my promise..so that one day u can remind me about yours huh…bollo Riya.. ” with lump in his throat  he regretted ..

 

” I didn’t mean that Pa but…” she wanted to give own clarification ..

 

” Just shut up.. Don’t dare to question me.. Lohri hai.. Lohri hai.. U r just stuck to this Today is 12th.. Lohri is on 13th..n day after tomorrow 14 … then what ? Rohit Bajaj  need not to prove himself in front of his daughter.. Need not to tell what I m doing to sooth u ? ” He was like a volcano.. Who could remain calm for ages but erupt also in jiffy..He didn’t want to see same mad girl again. Who was still fighting with her epilapsy…

 

” Rohit..why r u over reacting ?  ” 

 

” O always over react.. I think u both had forgotten..Ek baar maine isse kaha tha…Rone se kuch nahi milega.I ll not force her to forget but instead of demanding  answer from anyone..She ll have to make herself that much strong that those people ll beg in front of her to answer those untold questions…Bollo kaha tha k nahi…”  he grabbed Riya from shoulders n jerked her…

” Then it applies on me too..Instead of crying ..demanding answer from me …u should  ask me that Pa whats our next move to bring those losers on knees n ask for mercy..” he suddenly melted seeing expressionless face of his daughter..n hugged her tightly..

                                 GLIMPSE OF PAST (SOME IMPORTANT SCENES ) 

 

 

They did so…Things were moving as they should be..Made her fully unconscious….But there was no one ..no one …not a single soul in a country of millions..who was waiting for her…wishing for her and baby’s well being outside OT…

Certainly there was something going on in her unconscious mind…In between this process her pulse was dropping..She was breathing heavily..Such a blood loss which was not expected…But somehow Dr.Iyer became successful in bringing a life to this world safely which was unsafe in her mother’s womb…A premature but healthy baby girl….On other hand Geet’s condition worsen..Immediately she got shifted to ICU…As precautionary measures Baby was also kept under special observation..

For Geet next 12 hours were critical…Blood..Drip..Oxygen Mask..Different health monitoring equipments knitted a net around her…Intentionally they kept her unconscious for longer time so she couldn’t hurt herself..even she didn’t know about stitches she had.. But Dr. Iyer he was much worried thinking if she went to coma..what to do then ?? Inspecting her ..he went to have a glimpse of baby…

” Is maasom ko yeh tak bhi nahi patta k yeh to ussi din anaath (orphen) ho gayi thi jab apni Maa ka hissa banni…Isko apna kehna walla koi nahi per ha iski zindgi ka faisla kare waale kai hai…I am one among them…” He put hand over baby’s head lovingly…His eyes gone wet.. Looking at that little creature..Such a cute n innocent she was just like her mother. .Who was replica of  her so called father…Who didn’t even sensed her presence…

She was feeling hungry ..Started to cry in feeble voice…so suck on her fist..folding soft tiny pink fingers…Which left Dr. Iyer total emotionally heart broken…Sudden feeling of sending her to orphanage hit him inside deep…
